Cadette "AmaZing" Weekend
Our Cadette girls from East Bridgewater completed their Girl Scout Journey in one weekend at Camp Wind-In-The-Pines down in Plymouth.
They learned about bullying, clicks, peer pressure, being a leader and making good choices. They had a lot of fun and really had a lot to talk about from their own personal experiences.
They made "Peacemaker" boxes, that were filled with ideas, solutions, and memories of the weekend.
At the "Trick Or Treat So They Can Eat Party" you will get to see their final stage of posters, or skits that they put together during they weekend. You will also see their posters in the Veterans Parade on Nov 11th.
As parents and troop leaders it was "AmaZing" to see how the girls respected and enjoyed being together.
One of their favorite item was the "Gorp"...which will be one of the staple food for all Journey Weekends!
Thank you to all the leaders and parents that made the weekend end possible, Thank you to one of our Senior Girl Scouts Madison Neas who helped leading the group during the weekend.
And a special Thank you to Kathleen McDonald, Troop Leader for troop 81157, who put it all together and made it possible!!
Below are some pictures from the weekend...
